Nice Stop

The Mill Race Historical Museum is a nice stop on the way to the Northville Cider Mill. It's sort of tucked out of the way off of 8 mile Rd. But is a very small scale version of Greenfield Village. It is a small park where you can walk outdoors from one historical home to the next and learn about the history of the city. There are maybe 6 or 8 houses and it is nothing worth driving long distance to see, though if you are in the are, it's worth the stop.
The perfect setting for our wedding

My wife and I were married September of 1993 at Mill Race in Northville, and this location is what made our wedding outstanding! We were married in their white gazebo, and there were climbing roses on the trellis and a small brook nearby. Everything was perfectly well groomed and our wedding photos are excellent.
The staff went out of their way to make sure that we were happy. I found the price to be very reasonable. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding location, look no further!
PROS: Beautiful, reasonably priced, helpful staff
CONS: none
